Refund Policy

When refunds apply

Before pre-ship configuration call
Full refund, no questions asked

After configuration call, before shipping
Refund minus $150 restocking fee
Covers configuration time and any components ordered for your build
After shipping, before delivery
Refund minus $150 restocking fee plus actual shipping cost
Contact us immediately and we will attempt to intercept the shipment

No refund available
Hardware is custom configured to your specifications. See warranty policy below for coverage of defects and failures.

To request a refund, email doug@elliottbaydata.org with your order details. We will respond within one business day.

Warranty & Defects

Hardware coverage

If your device arrives damaged, non-functional, or fails within 90 days of delivery due to a hardware or configuration defect, we will repair or replace it at no cost to you. Normal wear, physical damage after delivery, and failures caused by modifications to the configuration are not covered.

To report a defect, email doug@elliottbaydata.org with a description of the issue and your order information.

Services

Bookkeeping & automation engagements

Refund policies above apply to hardware products only (Raspberry Pi + OpenClaw, Raspberry Pi + Nextcloud). Bookkeeping and automation service engagements are governed by the terms agreed upon in your service agreement.

This policy was last reviewed in May 2026. Elliott Bay Services LLC reserves the right to update this policy. The version in effect at the time of purchase applies to your order.
